´The focus of these photoworks lies within the alternating experiences of the self/the body through its surroundings.   The approach is much like that of the process of painting; the duality of the real and the fictitious, of the formal and the subjective, where a miniscule moment is distilled, quieted and reflected upon. The complete stillness and non-figural presence in the photographs leaving ample space for the imagination to roam about, perhaps as if in the state of dreaming consciousness, where actions become real and removed at the same time.´
