BOOK/PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS

See layout mock-up left in the black streetscapes folder in studio. It explains the 3 sheets you lay out and print and bring into class by next Thursday. The mock-up also explains the layout for your title page, the first page in your page number assignment sequence. Please hand in 3 sheets printed on both sides (no spray mounts), 15 copies each.

I will be the studio for one hour, between 12-1 pm on December 11th.

Sheet 1.

Side A
Title sheet, includes your name, text, following the template.

Side B
Sheet 1 from project 4, (Image of your site in context with city)

Sheet 2.

Side A
Sheet 2 from project 4. (Your 3D drawing, showing all catalogue of objects and their relationships)

Side B
Sheet 3 from project 4. (2 catalogue objects and a perspective)

Sheet 3.

Side A
Sheet 4 from project 4. (2 catalogue objects and a perspective)

Side B
Leave this page blank, just add the page number as designated to you.

You may also hand in max 1 additional pages from your previous objects. Note to only have one image per side. Include your name only+design class, that is: in 8 pt Verdana <Your name>, plus "Streetscapes 2003" near the lower outside corner. These will be put in the back of the book.

Checklist:

Ο       Use 24-28 lbs paper, (no heavy photo papers).

Ο       Print both sides on paper (no spray mount).

Ο       15 copies each page.

Ο       Keep your text brief, concise and creative.

Ο       Follow the template for your title sheet to fit in your texts using Verdana font.

Ο       Use your designated page numbers, put the page number in the lower outer corner as shown in the mock up.

Ο       Page number assignment, by site, and per student; in alphabetical order:

Ο       Remember to put a page number on all your pages, including the blank page.
